Satellite Aerosol and Trace Gas Data and EPA AIRNOW PM2.5 for Air Quality Applications

* Recent OMI data (from Jan 24, 2009) should be used with caution (read more).
* PM2.5 is for continental US only.
* Aerosol Deep Blue are not available for Terra after Dec 2007 due to unavailability of the required polarization corrections to the L1B data. The Terra Aerosol Dark Target data are available for the whole mission period. Note: Terra data record has a few short periods in the mission where data is missing - please consult the calendar to determine when these period of missing data occur.  (calendar).

NOTE: All satellite products in this instance are column measurements. Satellite detected aerosols and trace gases may or may not be located at the surface. PM2.5 concentrations are in situ surface measurements.
